1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AscendLabs Humanize service ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

2. Description of Service & Pay-and-Go Model

AscendLabs provides an automated document rewriting and stylistic humanization platform engineered to improve syntactic cadence, academic burstiness, and reading clarity for AI-drafted prose.

The Service operates strictly on an anonymous pay-as-you-go model at the rate of ₹29 per 1,000 words (or fraction thereof calculated server-side). There are no recurring subscriptions, hidden memberships, or automatic renewals. Every payment purchases a single processing entitlement for the specified document word count.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain 100% full ownership of any document, text, or file you upload to the Service. AscendLabs does not claim any ownership rights over your uploaded text or the resulting humanized output.

You warrant that you own or possess the necessary rights and permissions to submit the text for processing and that your text does not violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Submitting malicious software, ZIP bombs, or corrupted files intended to cause denial of service.
  • Attempting unauthorized probing, scanning, or vulnerability exploitation of our systems or infrastructure.
  • Interfering with payment verification or forging cryptographic usage tokens.
  • Processing illegal, defamatory, threatening, or infringing material.

5. Disclaimers & Academic Integrity

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While our engine is optimized to preserve numbers, scientific terminology, citations, and structural formatting, users are strongly advised to review final documents before formal publication or submission.

AscendLabs makes no legal warranty regarding third-party AI detection classifiers (such as Turnitin, GPTZero, or SciSpace), as third-party heuristic thresholds change independently of our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, AscendLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific transaction in dispute.
